Arrival

Munich - Kufstein motorway:

towards Innsbruck - Arlberg - Bregenz. After Innsbruck, take the exit Kematen - Sellrain. From there 25 km (approx. 30 minutes) to Kühtai.  

Ulm - Kempten motorway:

towards Füssen - Fern Pass - Imst - Inntal motorway towards Innsbruck. Then take the exit Ötztal. From the exit, 25 km (approx. 30 min.) to Kühtai. 

Ulm - Lindau motorway:

towards Bregenz - Bludenz - Arlberg (via the Arlberg Pass or Arlberg road tunnel, subject to a charge) - Ötztal. Take the motorway exit Ötztal. From the exit, 25 km (approx. 30 min.) to Kühtai. 
 
Vignette-free

Munich - Garmisch motorway, then the federal road towards Seefeld - Zirl - Sellrain/Kühtai. It is 25 km (approx. 30 min.) from Zirl to Kühtai.  

Ulm - Kempten motorway, then the Füssen - Fern Pass - Imst - Ötztal - Ötz - Kühtai federal roads. It is 17 km (approx. 20 min.) from Ötz to Kühtai.  
 
Please be expected to drive on snowy roads during the winter. Winter tyres are obligatory from November 1 to April 15. We also recommend that you take snow chains along with you.
 

Kühtai can be easily reached from all directions by train: from the east and north via Innsbruck main station. From the west via Ötztal station. There are several rail connections every day that take you to your destination within a few hours via Railjet. You can also travel from Germany during the winter season by Schnee Express (from Hamburg or Düsseldorf via Nuremberg and Munich to Innsbruck). Meaning that no day of holiday is lost. 
You can either take the public bus or a taxi from Innsbruck main station or Ötztal station. We would be happy to organise a taxi shuttle for you on request.  

Luggage service:

A service provided by Austrian Federal Railways allows you to have your luggage sent directly from home to the AlpinLodges in advance. Our guests from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol can make use of this service.

Innsbruck Airport (Austria). 

Numerous airlines fly directly to Innsbruck Airport several times a week. You can reach the AlpinLodges Kühtai conveniently within 45 minutes using the Kühtai taxi.

Munich Airport (Germany) 

Munich Airport is situated 240 km from Kühtai. You then travel from Munich via Innsbruck by train or directly using an airport taxi.

Salzburg Airport (Austria). 

Salzburg Airport is situated 215 km from Kühtai. You then travel from Salzburg via Innsbruck by train or directly using an airport taxi.

Zurich Airport (Switzerland) 

Zurich Airport is situated 270 km from Kühtai. You then travel from Zurich by train via Ötztal station or directly using an airport taxi.
