The Miners' Trail takes you back in time to around 350 years ago, to when miners mined chalcopyrite, pyrite and galena using nothing but their own sheer strength. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains await us at the highest point of the round, the Wetterkreuzkogel at 2591 m.

As is well known, the early bird catches the worm, but we will catch the day's first warming rays of sunshine. Armed with headlamps and in good spirits, we climb the Faltegartenkögele early in the morning and enjoy listening to nature as it awakens. Once we reach the summit, all our efforts and exertions are forgotten in the breathtaking sunrise atmosphere.
