Winter hiking trails
The winter wonderland of Kühtai can also be explored on foot along some amazingly beautiful trails:
- The hiking path to the Zirmbach is a leisurely, family-friendly route. It starts at the tourist information office and runs along a small track from the Hoch-Alter car park towards the baby lift.
- The Kaiser-Franz-Josefsweg begins at the Sonnenlift below the underpass and leads through a beautiful Swiss stone pine forest towards Ötz.
- The Knappenweg begins by the Kühtai fire station and leads slightly uphill through the ski slope tunnel. You can continue your hike from here to the Graf-Ferdinand-Haus and end it with a fun toboggan run.

Tobogganing - always a load of fun
Ready, steady, action – is the name of the game when you head down into the valley on a toboggan!
A family-friendly toboggan run starts by the Graf-Ferdinand-Haus, which can be reached from the valley station of the Drei-Seen-Bahn lift after an approx. 50-minute ascent. After taking a leisurely refreshment break at the hut, you can rent a toboggan on site for a fee and begin your tobogganing adventure right away. Those who like being romantic can also go tobogganing in the moonlight. The toboggan run is illuminated until midnight.
