Family-friendly ski resort

The Kühtai is considered one of the most family-friendly ski resorts in Tyrol. Your children will find it especially satisfying that the winter fun begins right on our doorstep. There is lots of fun to be had in the children's skiing course with baby lift and magic carpet on the jolly practice areas. Beginners to freeskiing can make their first attempts at the KidsPark. Supervised outdoor fun after the skiing course and an indoor kindergarten will make your family skiing holiday in Kühtai so relaxing.

The ski resort

41 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes, a well-maintained fun park and dreamlike deep-snow slopes ensure pure winter enjoyment for skiers, snowboarders and tourers.
The expansive Kühtai ski resort has twelve ascending installations: the 8-seater Kaiserbahn gondola lift, three weather-protected 4-seater chair lifts, the 4-seater WiesBergBahn chair lift, a double chair lift, five drag lifts and a magic carpet for the little ones. Those who are still looking for more variety can take the free shuttle bus to the Hochötz-Kühtai ski region.

Jump the SuperPipe

Jump, slide, jib, race! Snowboarders and freestylers alike will find a superb fun park in the KPark Kühtai. One of the only two SuperPipes in Austria, Germany and Italy with a height of six metres is located here. The fun park has loads of exciting activities spread over four areas: the FreeStyle area with a variety of creative obstacles, the SuperPipe with a height of six metres and a length of 160 metres, the SnowCross track for all speed junkies and the KidsPark to amuse the little ones.

Celebrate life with après-ski!

You should toast this unique winter experience! You can pull up a chair with your loved ones and friends in the cosy "Dorfstadl" near the AlpinLodges. Rustic flair can also be found in the "Kaiser Maximilian" or "Graf-Ferdinand-Haus" huts, which are located directly on the slopes. The "Zeitlos" bar is a good tip for those who like to party. A glass of pleasant wine from the well-stocked wine cellar can be enjoyed in the "Schlossbar" during the evening.

Snow, snow, snow - as far as the eye can see. The Kühtai ski area lies at a magnificent 2,020 metres above sea level and is one of the most desirable ski resorts in the Alps. We not only ensure you an unforgettable winter holiday, but also snow from the beginning of December through to the end of April.


Skiing under the starry sky

The slopes of the Kühtai shine in a brilliant light every Wednesday and Saturday from 19.30 until 22.00 with night skiing. Floodlights provide the perfect lighting. This is where night turns into day. And this is what you celebrate afterwards with a refreshment stop at the "Zum Kaiser Maximilian" hut.
