We process personal data of users (this includes all categories of persons affected by the data processing) only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. This means, we process personal data only in compliance with a legal permission: this is justified, especially if the data processing for the provision of our contractual services, as well as online services required or required by law, the consent of the user exists, as well as our legitimate interests (interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation and security of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).

The access data includes the name of the retrieved website, the date and time of the retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), anonymous host name of the user's computer (IP address). Logfile information is stored for security purposes (for example, to investigate abusive or fraudulent activities) for a maximum of 14 days and will be deleted afterwards. Data whose further retention is required for evidential purposes shall be exempted from the cancellation until final clarification of the incident.
Data processing related to web analytics
Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal regulations of the § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as the Art 6 para. 1 a) (consent) and / or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the website usage by you. The information generated thereby is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored or set the appropriate cookie control. We have concluded a corresponding contract data processing contract with the provider.
Your IP address is captured, but immediately pseudonymized. As a result, only a rough localization is possible. Your IP address will be truncated by Google within the European Union or in another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thereby anonymized. The last 8 bits of an IPv4 address are set to 0, with an IPv6 address the last 80 of the 128 bits. The user data is kept for a period of 14 months.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the shipping service provider's server when the newsletter is opened. Thus opening rates and click behavior of the user can be captured and analyzed. This serves to better understand our users as a whole and to adapt our content to the wishes of our users.
The use of the shipping service provider, the implementation of statistical surveys and analyzes, as well as the recording of the registration process, are based on our legitimate interests in accordance with. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We are interested in using a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves both our business interests and the expectations of our users.
On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. GDPR) we use the marketing and remarketing services ("Google Marketing Services ") Of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (" Google "). Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European privacy legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google Marketing Services allows us to better target advertisements for and directly on our website so that we only present ads to users that potentially match their interests. If a user e.g. gets shown ads for products he's been interested in on other websites before is called remarketing. For this remarketing, tags are integrated into our pages, which serve to mark users by means of cookies or similar technical possibilities and to create (pseudonymous) user profiles and use these for remarketing. The data of the users are pseudonymously processed in the context of the Google marketing services. That means, Google stores and processes e.g. not the name or e-mail address of the users, but processes the relevant data cookie-related within pseudonymous user profiles. This means, from the perspective of Google, the ads are not managed and displayed to a specifically identified person, but to the cookie owner, regardless of who that cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has explicitly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected about users through Google Marketing Services is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the United States.
We use "Google Tag Manager" to integrate and manage the Google Analytics and Marketing services on our website.
By using the DoubleClick cookies, Google and its affiliate websites will only be able to serve ads based on previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. The information generated by the cookies is transmitted by Google for evaluation to a server in the USA and stored there. Google transfers data to third parties only because of legal regulations or order data processing. Google will in no case match your data with other data collected by Google.
By using our online offer, you agree to the above-mentioned manner of data processing for the stated purpose. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. Alternatively, you can disable the dedicated Remarketing slider on the cookie information page. However, we want to point out, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full.
Facebook, Custom Audiences and Facebook Marketing Services
We use, as part of our online offer, due to our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer and for these purposes, the so-called "Facebook pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European data protection law.
On the one hand, it is possible for Facebook to use the Facebook pixel to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "Facebook ads"). Through the corresponding use of the Facebook pixel, the Facebook ads we pass through are only displayed to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or certain features (e.g. interests in certain topics or products that were visited on the basis of those Web pages determined), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). This also ensures that our Facebook ads are in line with the potential interest of users and are not annoying to you. Furthermore, we can analyse the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes, in which we see if users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").
When you visit our website, the Facebook pixel is integrated directly by Facebook and can save a small file, so-called cookie, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook in the logged-in state, your visit to our online offer will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you do not provide any information about the identity of the users, as they are anonymous to us. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook. As a result, a connection to the respective user profile can be possible and used by Facebook as well as for its own market research and advertising purposes. The processing of the data by Facebook is part of Facebook's data usage policy. Accordingly, general notes on the presentation of Facebook Ads, in the data usage policy of Facebook:
Also, based on our legitimate interests, we use the "Custom Audiences from File" method of the Facebook, Inc. social network. In this case, the email addresses of newsletter recipients are uploaded to Facebook. The upload process is encrypted. The upload is used alone to identify recipients of our Facebook ads. We want to make sure that the ads are only displayed to users who are interested in our information and services.
You have the option to opt-out of the Facebook pixel and the use of your data to display Facebook Ads. You can set what kinds of ads you see within Facebook. Go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions for the settings of usage-based advertising:https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are platform independent, i.g. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
Integration of services and contents of third parties
Within our online offer, we rely on our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR third-party content or service offerings in order to provide their content and services, e.g. Include videos or fonts (collectively referred to as "content"). The condition is that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users, because they could not send the content to the users browser without the IP address. Therefore, the IP address is required for the presentation of this content. We endeavor to use only those services whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Furthermore, these third parties may use so-called pixel tags for statistical or marketing purposes. The "pixel tags" can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The anonymized information can also be stored in cookies on the device of the user.
These data may include, but are not limited to, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring web pages, visit time, and other information regarding the use of our online offer.
